“But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.” Isaiah 41:8
Conclusion
Abraham’s walk of faith moved him beyond servanthood into friendship with God — a relationship marked by trust, obedience, and intimate fellowship. Believers are called to the same standard: not simply to serve God from a distance, but to walk so closely with Him in faith and obedience that they too are called His friends.
