Prayer of Embodiment Retreat

"Through a twice daily rhythm of gentle yoga stretches followed by periods of centering meditation, communal silence, worship, daily Eucharist, prayerful reading of the scriptures, rest, play, instructions and presentations, fellowship and deliciously healthy food, participants will renew and deepen their bodies, minds and spirits in the deeply embodied rhythm of God's love in Christ."......... click here for more about the Prayer of Embodiment Retreat.

World Within/World Without
In this foundational event of Wellspring's we will experience covenant community, meet with one of the founders of The Church of the Saviour, Gordon Cosby, and see the work of call enfleshed in various ministries located in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, DC. Back on campus at Wellspring, there will be a time for soaking in the wisdom and love of God through the gift of companionable silence.
Short presentations, small group work, communal meals, and time for holy rest all culminate in an experience of spiritual nurture, challenge and refreshment. World Within - World Without provides an environment in which to touch your "world within" - one that is that is safe and conducive to the work of the spirit that may result in practical applications of service to those who live in the "world without...." click here for more information about Wellspring's foundational event.
